Learning To Program - Bing A Better Programmer (Episode - 1)

Today suddenly while playing a game on mobile I felt that something can be written about why we should learn to program. Basically, this article is meant to  make those who have very little idea about programming and those who want to learn interested in programming.

What is programming?

In one word, programming means creating programs or software. Everything we use on a computer is a program. They are written using a specific language. The language in which they are written is called a programming language.

When learning to program, the first question that will come is why we learn to program? The answer is very simple! Learn programming to run the computer! You may say that two clicks on the media player are playing music or that I can play any game with two clicks of the mouse, but where is the program?

But the truth is that computers are stupid devices. It does not have the power to do anything by itself. It has to be worked with. If you want, you can do the work of 100 people with this computer. And to do is programming. That is, you can do any work after setting a specific program. Like you can listen to music, create animations or play games. So how about making a program yourself? Maybe it is games or something else.

One thing is easily understood running a computer is impossible without programming. Moreover, it is a very interesting thing. You will understand once you start doing it. I can say with absolute certainty that once you start programming you may find that you are more interested in making games than playing them.

Many may say that learning programming requires studying computer science. I see it a little differently. Learning programming is a "must" to study computer science, but there is no saying that you have to study computer science to learn to program. If there were then Bill Gates to Mark Zuckerberg or various programmers would have been computer science graduates. Did not leave school and programming! Even many of the highly rated coders in various programming contests didn't even finish high school! What really matters is whether you are interested or not. Maybe it turns out that you might like programming even after studying Arts. Once you like it, it's done. You will do the rest yourself.

Programming will increase the thinking power of your brain!

Many people may say again, what is the meaning of wasting time studying arts and doing things like programming? But programming is all about solving problems using logic. Guess you're in trouble. Now to solve the problem. You will arrive at the solution by following various steps one by one. That means you have to think.

You have to go to the root of any problem and think. Your brain will think about which logic will solve the problem faster. What this will do is make your brain more active. The logical part of the brain will learn to think more. As a result, it will not only be useful in solving programming problems but will help you to memorize or learn anything else quickly. In other words, programming will increase the thinking power of your brain.

Maybe many enroll in computer science and read the theory of programming to get grades. Has no interest in it. As a result, it can be seen that programming subject is very difficult for him. The truth is that it is not like the other ten subjects. I would say, it is very easy than other subjects but if there is no interest such a complex subject cannot be done. So, once you start programming, you will know within a week or two whether you like it or not.

If you don't like it, then there is no point in wasting time on it. But once you get the hang of it, I swear you'll forget about programming until it's time to eat.

Let me tell you about another benefit of learning programming. We study to know the truth but now the condition of society has become such that the future of the job depends on your reading and writing! So I will say only one thing - if you are a good programmer then you don't have to look hard for a job but the job will find you. But programming should be learned not only to get a job in Google-Microsoft or a good software firm but also for learning or for fun.

Another good thing to say is that you can learn any programming language just by trying for a few days. However, to become a good programmer, one must not only learn programming languages but also know how to solve problems by developing logic.

And to do that, you need to know mathematics very well or understand algorithms. That is, the point I want to understand is that you cannot learn programming by trying for a week or two, but you can use any language and its application after a few months of trying. So one thing is to spend time on programming.

And to learn programming, the first programming language that will come in C programming. So in the next episodes, I will try to give some very basic ideas about C programming.

So try it once and see if programming is very simple or a little difficult?
