A python swallowed a woman whole in Indonesia !!

A woman was swallowed whole by a python in Indonesia. This is the fifth incident of people hunting Golbahar pythons!

In the four years 1995, 2017, 2018, and 2020, Golbahar pythons have been hunted by humans four times. In 1995 and 2020, it killed the prey but could not swallow it Swallowed in 2017 and 2018 The third incident of swallowing happened in 2022!

Zahara, is a 52-year-old rubber tree sap collector in Terjung Gajah village, Betara Upazila, West Tanjung Jabung region, Jambi, Sumatra island, Indonesia. On Sunday morning, October 23, he went to his rubber plantation to collect sap but did not return home after sunset. After one day and one car missing, the villagers start searching for him On Monday morning, a 19.68 feet or 6 meters long Reticulated Python with a huge belly was spotted in the forest near the rubber plantation. The snake was resting naturally after eating its fill.

This has happened twice in Indonesia, so when villagers suspiciously killed the python and cut open its stomach, the woman's body was discovered intact. Burmese pythons are as readily available in our country as Golbahar pythons are in Indonesia. Villagers are now terrified that the rubber plantations may harbor even bigger pythons.

Humans are not natural prey for pythons, but the world's longest snake, the ringed python, is the only one with natural predation on humans and is on the rise. This python is rare in Bangladesh and only found in Chittagong Division.
