Elon Musk: The Real Iron Man

Who doesn't know Tony Stark from Marvel Comics coloring pages? On the one hand, his identity is like a famous scientist-billionaire, on the other hand, he is Iron Man for the people of the world only covered in red iron armor. Just as in the pages of fiction comics, Iron Man made all the impossible in science possible with his jetpack, so in the real world, we meet someone who is reshaping the world around us with his extraordinary innovative scientific thinking. His name is Elon Musk.

Elon Musk, the owner of about 190 billion US dollars, is recognized as the most successful entrepreneur in the world today. The extraordinary lifestyle of this man of divergent thinking gives us a lot of inspiration. According to many, today's Elon Musk is a reflection of KFC's Colonel Sanders or Alibaba's Jack Ma, who were able to overcome hundreds of failures and reach the pinnacle of success. From small computer programming to the development of life on the red soil of Mars - such a long journey was not smooth at all. Let's see the story of a young boy from Pretoria becoming a billionaire entrepreneur-

Childhood Stories:

Son of a South African father and a Canadian mother, Elon, whose full name is “Elon Reeve Mask,” was born in 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. Elon was very fond of books since childhood. At the age of nine, due to a lack of books at home, he finally started reading the famous Encyclopaedia Britannica, which he eventually finished! He was very quiet in his school life, what we call an introvert. As a result, he was bullied at school and was taken to the hospital once. At the beginning of his life, so much stress but in no way could not chain his success. At the age of 10, he became proficient in computer programming by himself. At the age of 12, he created a fun video game called Blaster. Interestingly, he sold that video game to a magazine and earned $500 in cash!

Education:

Saying "no" to compulsory military service in South Africa, Musk moved to Canada for higher education. He completed his graduation in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He later obtained a second bachelor's degree in physics.

It is good to say that despite being a science student in school-college and going to study commerce or arts in university, many have a latent desire to make a career in science background. Elon Musk can be an inspiration for them. Because even though he was once a student of economics, he later became successful in scientific work.

Soon after Musk enrolled at Stanford University to pursue a Ph.D. in energy physics, he decided to abandon his Ph.D. and focus on becoming a business entrepreneur and dropped out of the university just 2 days later.

Start of Success:

It was the dawn of the Internet, which, according to Bill Gates,

"Internet is the new big thing"

The immense potential of the Internet is what inspired Elon Musk to create ZipTwo, a software that was used as an Internet guide for city newspapers. When Musk was interested in the position of CEO of Zip2, his own company's board blocked him. In the meantime, when the famous tech company Compaq acquired Zip 2, Musk pocketed 22 million US dollars.

He came to X.com with a mask after leaving Zip 2. What do you know about x dot com? In our country, the idea of exchanging money through Bikash-UKash was given by Mask X.com, which later became the most popular online money transaction medium in the world, PayPal. In 2002, e-commerce giant eBay bought PayPal for $1.5 billion, the largest business acquisition at the time. An 11.7 percent stake in PayPal was deposited into Elon Musk's bank account, amounting to approximately $165 million.

After Zip2 and X.com-Paypal, Musk could have easily lived a luxurious life with the title of a millionaire. But Musk's dream was much bigger, much more far-reaching.

Space with SpaceX:

Elon Musk wanted to deliver goods from Earth to space on a personal initiative with an intercontinental rocket. The mask flew into Russia to buy rockets. But go to Russia and see that one ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) costs about 8 million USD and is disposable. Elon Musk was disappointed to hear such incredible prices. Even missile manufacturers began to joke with masks. On the way back to the country, Musk decided that he would build his own rockets at a low cost that could go beyond Earth's orbit and were also reusable. Masks added to the slogan of making rockets recyclable.

“It's crazy that we build these sophisticated rockets and destroy them at the end of every mission. It's really funny."

On May 6, 2002, Elon Musk founded SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corporation), the world's largest private space company.

It is a mistake to think that Elon Musk was playing the game in the beginning with SpaceX. Rather, after three failed rocket launches in a row, many saw the end of SpaceX. Yet Elon Musk did not give up. He had 100% confidence in his technology because he believed that his dream in space would be achieved by relying on this technology. The successful launch of SpaceX's Falcon-1 showed thumbs up to hundreds of hurdles and risks. But we can trace the Elon Musk-SpaceX link to the story of Robert Bruce and the spider, right?

When the dream is on Mars:

Elon Musk was a man whose mind was always busy with far-reaching thoughts. Elon Musk thought that it is ridiculous that only the earth is the path of mankind because any catastrophe on earth can cause the extinction of mankind in an instant. So Elon Musk took the initiative to establish a human settlement on Mars shortly. Musk believed that making the rocket reusable would be the most necessary to cover the cost of getting 54.6 million kilometers from Earth. SpaceX developed the Falcon-9, Falcon Heavy, offering advanced spacecraft like the BFR. Musk wants to make the Mars mission a reality by 2020-2024. And starting with Falcon-9 and today's Falcon Heavy proves one thing, and that is that Elon Musk's mission to Mars is now very much a reality. Musk is so optimistic about Mars that he wants to die not on Earth, but on Mars!

Tesla, Hyperloop, and others:

2 years after founding SpaceX, Elon Musk decided there was no alternative to electric-powered vehicles to alleviate the world's fuel shortage. So he founded Tesla Inc., a company unique in solar and electric fuel-powered automobiles. Elon Musk ensures that every car that leaves the Tesla factory in California is 100% eco-friendly and fuel efficient.

If you are told that you can travel from Dhaka to any part of the country in just a few minutes, you will be surprised. Elon Musk talks about a communication system where all these things are possible. He named it Hyperloop. With the help of a hyperspeed capsule running through the loop under the ground, the distance to any part of the world will be reached in just a few hours.

Elon Musk's various initiatives include Solar City where Musk wants to bring the entire world under solar energy, Open AI where work is done to ensure the correct application of artificial intelligence, Neuralink, Gigafactory, and many more innovative ideas. A few days ago, when children were trapped in a cave in Thailand, Elon Musk helped the rescue workers by donating a mini-submarine made from liquid oxygen supply tubes from the Falcon 9 rocket.

Some Inspirational Quotes:

"Whatever is most important for you to do, you must strive for it. Even though the task has zero chance of success.”

“Being a successful entrepreneur is like baking a cake in the oven. It is desirable to have every element in yourself in proper measure.”

"You can't truly innovate without failure in life."

 Criticism:

It is really hard to find an example of a person who has been successful in life and has not been criticized. As is the case with Elon Musk. From the beginning of his school life, he was despised by other students and criticized for his different ways of thinking. Even Musk's far-reaching thoughts about Mars are being called unnecessary by many. But Elon Musk himself is not at all worried about these issues, instead, he says,

“I'm always looking for criticism. A rational critic of your work is as precious as gold.”

Finally, it can be said that Elon Musk is making a radical change in the world so quickly, it is not really possible to measure it in terms of general success. Needless to say, the first name that comes to everyone's mind right now when answering the question, "Who is a shaper of the future world" is Elon Musk. Just like on the cover of the famous “Elon Musk” book by author Ashley Vance,

"How the billionaire CEO of SpaceX and Tesla is shaping our future"
