Acne is only on the face?

 Are you plagued with acne?

It's hard to find people who haven't struggled with acne during puberty. Acne means bumps all over the face, pain, and eventually scars. Scars remain on the affected area even after healing. A single pimple is enough to spoil the beauty of the face. But the question is, can acne not only be seen on the face but also on any other part of the body.

We may think that acne only occurs on the face. But this idea is completely wrong. Apart from the face, acne can also occur on other parts of the body. Even they can be more serious than the face!

First, let's know the cause of acne. There are sebaceous glands under our skin. This gland secretes a type of fluid called 'sebum'. This oily liquid acts like a natural moisturizer. Keeps the skin soft. If sweat, dirt, or anything else gets stuck in the mouth of this gland, the secretion of sebum is disturbed and there is inflammation. And this results in rashes and eventually acne.

How to stop pimples coming on the face

Sebaceous glands are found almost everywhere on the *body except the palms of the hands and feet. However, acne is most common on the face. Because the part of this gland is the most in the mouth. Also, the face is the oiliest area of the body. It should be noted that those who have a dry face, that is, the rate of sebum secretion is low, are less prone to face acne. But there is nothing to be happy or upset about. While dry skin is less prone to acne breakouts, there are other issues as well.

Acne on other parts: Apart from the face, the most dangerous acne can be on the back and head. An important piece of advice after getting acne is not to pick the wound. But acne on the back often gets itchy without being noticed, which can leave scars on the affected area and make the lesions more serious. Acne is usually caused by the accumulation of bacterial dirt from excessive sweating. So, as soon as possible, you should change sweaty clothes. On the other hand, the accumulated dead cells, oil, and other impurities can get stuck in the hair follicles and cause acne on the scalp. This acne is difficult to cure because it is covered with hair. So always make sure that the hair is clean. It is better not to wear a tight hat. It will not accumulate sweat.

Acne can also appear on the skin of the hands and feet, but it is less likely.
